Framework for Faith

Christian Ethics

This 8-session course starting in April 2013 could be very timely in view of the many ethical issues besetting the Church in the early part of the 21st Century.  The aims of the course are to identify key issues in Christian Ethics, and to offer a framework for making moral decisions.  Some of the topics we will wrestle with during the course are: "Just War?", "World Debt?", and "The Elderly - a burden or resource?" In addition, we will also tackle sexual issues. including homosexuality.

When? Starts Tuesday 23rd April and then meeting every Tuesday until 25th June.  We will break for half term on Tuesday, 28th May.  We meet at 7.30pm each evening and aim to finish between 9.00 -9.30pm.

Where? The Forbury Chapel, Team ministry office, Church Street, Leominster

Who? For everyone  in the parishes of the Leominster Deanery and beyond!

What? Teaching with opportunity for discussion and debate.

Cost? £10 per person for 8 sessions (includes notes, materials, and refreshments) to defray costs, hire of room and materials.

Interested?  Just turn up on Tuesday 23rd April at 7.30pm but if you need more information beforehand please contact Revd. Bruce Thomson on 01568 615295 or email: bruce.thomson@leominsterpriory.org.uk
